Waiting List Policy

Willa-Ley Border Collies Waiting List Policy

At Willa-Ley Border Collies, we are dedicated to finding the best homes for our puppies. To ensure a smooth and fair process, we’ve established the following guidelines for our waiting list.

1. Joining the Waiting List

To join the Willa-Ley Border Collies waiting list, prospective puppy owners must complete the Waiting List Form available on our website. This form collects important details such as contact information, puppy preferences (gender, color, temperament), and a little information about yourself.

Please note that submitting this form does not guarantee a puppy from our upcoming litters as we cannot determine the quantity of puppies born, but it ensures that you will be contacted when puppies are available.

2. Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to secure your spot on the waiting list once puppies are born and available. The deposit will be deducted from the total price of the puppy. If you decline a puppy from a particular litter, your position on the list will remain, but the deposit will not be refunded.

If you are not yet ready to make a deposit, you can still join the list and will be contacted after those with deposits are offered puppies.

3. Puppy Selection

Puppies will be offered to families on the waiting list based on the order of deposit received, preferences, and the best match for both the puppy and the family.

Order of Contact: Once puppies are born, we will contact individuals on the waiting list in the order of their deposits.

Matching Puppies: We prioritize placing each puppy in a home that matches its temperament and the lifestyle of the family as best as possible.

Time Frame: When contacted, you will have 72 hours to confirm your interest in the available puppy. If we do not receive a response within this timeframe, we will move to the next person on the list.

4. Declining Puppies

If you choose to pass on a puppy from a particular litter, your deposit will remain on file, and you will maintain your place on the waiting list for future litters.

5. Reservation Transfer

Your position on the waiting list is non-transferable to another person or party. If you decide not to move forward with purchasing a puppy, the deposit will not be refunded, but your spot will be retained for future litters if you wish to retain the position.

6. Final Payment & Pickup

The balance of the purchase price is due when the puppies are 8 weeks old, before they are ready to go to their new homes. We will schedule a pickup date and provide you with all the necessary paperwork, health records, and the puppy starter kit at that time.

7. Health Guarantee & Support

All of our puppies come fully health-checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Willa-Ley Border Collies offers lifetime breeder support, and we encourage new owners to reach out to us with any questions or for guidance on training and care.

8. Policy Updates

This policy is subject to updates and changes at the discretion of Willa-Ley Border Collies. Any changes will be communicated via our website or directly to those on the waiting list.

By joining the Willa-Ley Border Collies waiting list, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
